Our consultancy was tasked with performing a geotechnical investigation for the proposed construction of a bridge above al Hosinia railway barrier Zagazig. The scope of work included conducting a site investigation to determine the geotechnical characteristics of the soil and rock layers, assessing the bearing capacity and settlement potential of the foundation soil, and providing recommendations for the design of the bridge foundation. The investigation was aimed at ensuring the safe and stable construction of the bridge above the existing railway barrier.
