Project Overview
Al-Ahrar WWTP is a crucial project in the first phase of the national initiative “Hayah karima”. Its primary objective is to treat wastewater and dispose of it in an environmentally safe and responsible manner. The plant is strategically located to serve the population of the villages of Al-Qantara Sharq, including Al-Salam, Al-Ahrar, Meet Abu Al-Koum, Al-Shabab Farms, Arab Al-Sheikh Swailem, Tal Salam, and Farms in the East Lakes region, until 2057. The plant currently serves 17,800 individuals and is estimated to serve a population of 40,153 in 2057.
