Project Overview
Abu Swier Southern Wastewater Treatment Plant (WWTP) is a significant infrastructure development aimed at improving wastewater management in Ismailia Governorate. With a capacity of 20,000 m³/day, the facility serves numerous villages, including Al-Hajrasi, Abo Hassan, Shuaib, Al-Sajaei, Abo Dahshan, Ezbet Haiba, Ezbet-16, 6th of October, Taraa Al-Mahsama, Al-Soly, Al-Omda Al-Baali, Haysam, Al-Maskhouta, Rashid Sulaiman, Al-Jarir, Abdel Nabi, Kassab, and Taraa 5.
The plant collects wastewater through six incoming force mains:
630 mm diameter from Haysam pump station
500 mm diameter from Al-Hajrasi pump station
400 mm diameter from Ezbet Haiba pump station
200 mm diameter from Ezbet-16 pump station
355 mm diameter from Taraa Al-Mahsama pump station
400 mm diameter from Al-Maskhouta pump station
